Dell M140 versus E1405...Please help

What's the battery life comparison for the M140 versus the E1405?
Would you keep the M140 (1.73, 60 Gig 7200RPM, and Non-TrueLife) or E1405 (1.66 Dual Core, TrueLife, but 60 Gig 5400RPM) both have 6 cell batteries, DVDRW, 512 Ram.
I bought both of them a few weeks ago, and I'm trying to decide between the two as they both cost about the same.
Are there any good E1405 Truelife screens? (or are they all unacceptable?)

Thanks for any advice!

the e1405 is probably about an hour longer since the core duo is more efficient than the pentium m

I don't think that core duo runs as long - as you can't undervolt it as good as the dothan. 0.9x vs 0.7

7200RPM disk would be faster for me - than a duo. However that depends on the tasks you do. I would take the one with the better built-in monitor.

Yeah it's a tough call as the M140 has the faster HD and the non-TrueLife screen, but the E1405 has the newer core duo processor and chipset.
What is the TrueLife screen that I would want on the E1405? (I keep reading varying opinions...some say Samsung while it seems that most say AUO)

So the battery life is longer on the E1405? (due to the newer processor and slower HD?)

Thanks again!

i would go with the e1405, better components.

i had the AUO and i'm returning it. i heard the samsung is not that different so i'm not even going to bother with a screen replacement. i'll probably just get the M1210 when it comes out next week...

I have the Samsung right now and it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, however i'm still getting a replacement due to a stuck pixel, (already sent in mail). I'll let you know how it is when it arrives.
