8890 RAID problem

I installed XP with RAID 0 with no problems and ran it for almost a year with no problems.

I decided to do a fresh install the other day and now I get a "operating system not found" when I try to boot from the XP cd.

So, I dl boot disks and get up to the "press f8 to agree to the license" then the screen that asks if you want to set up XP etc.

I say "yes" and get the BSOD.

OK, so I switched the switches and tried no RAID and all is fine. WTF.

Any suggestions? I would mauch appreciate any good advice.

Does anyone know what happened to that step by step RAID setup that someone posted here a while back?

I am pretty sure it was specifically for the 8890.
