Well after my dell phase which has lasted a long time my last sager was a NP8887 I have come back to clevo/sagers

This is my college laptop that I have just purchased for school. it wasnt marketed in the US very much I guess because I cant seem to find a review on it at all.

So my main question can anyone provide a review on this laptop (preferably in english) i would be most grateful

I will say that if you configure that little puppy with 2 gigs of ram, the sonoma 2.0 GHz processor, SB compatible audio and a 7200 RPM sata drive it will be a smoking office apps or music playing/burning machine. The graphics are nothing to write home about and you will not be playing any games on it unless you like good ole starcraft or something but the built in bluetooth, wireless, lan and 1.3 mp rotating camera will make this a great tool for the coffee shop or laying out in the sun at school surfing the web and typing papers. Sounds like a winner for school applications but def not for anything else.

Being a clevo the build quality is a no-brainer so really it is just a question of how you spec it out IMHO. If you want something a little more budget friendly than a sager 5720 or 60 or something but is still smaller and lighter and can play some games then check out the 5710 or something with the 256 meg x700 in it. That will be smaller, lighter and pack a nice little wollup for a little casual gaming.

thanks for the info i went for the lower end only maxing out the hdd i plan to go for the 2.1 and max everything else out later I have gotten out of gaming so GMA will be fine
