Intel mobile chipset

Is there any reason why I should install this if I am doing a clean install on my HD???

I would recommend installing all motherboard drivers...your install may start up fine without them but may exhibit strange behavior/lockups later.

If you are talking about the chipset drivers from the Intel website, then yes, you should install them FIRST. Right after you log into Windows the first time. That's when I do it.
