I have a question again: Recently I installed compiz by using apt-get. But now the installation of any applications, which depend on compiz, isn't possible anymore (and removing compiz also doesn't work). According to the error messages of apt-get, some files could not be overwridden (/usr/bin/coompiz.real , /usr/lib/compiz/libresize.so).
Sometimes ago I used apt-get to install another programm, and had the same problems ("... try to overwride some shit ... dpkg: Process paste killed by signal (broken pipe) ... extract some shit , dpkg: Error during extracting some shit (--unpack) ...). Does anyone know why apt-get sometimes refuses to install a programm, because some files cannot be overwride (although, in some cases, this files don't exist yet)?
