What is the part #? Is it specifically for the E1505?

Thanks,

i bought ati one, as seen on their website. it's for ati 7pin out, but not specifically for e1505

i tried calling dell but they have no idea about an item in their own manual, which tells customers to call dell about.

this sucks

You got me interested in what signals were on that 7 pin S-Video connector. I managed to find this page:

http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...m/pinasign.htm

It shows that pin 7, the top middle pin, is ground and that the composite (DCMPS-L) signal is on pin 6.

Whereas this page on ATI connectors shows the middle pin carrying the composite signal.

http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/other/97

So I don't think Dell and ATI connectors are compatible.
