Ghost Recon Demo won't work on stacked 9300?

Thread Starter
For some reason (I can't seem to find the problem in the forums here) I can't successfully run Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Demo at anything near playable framerates. I've got a 9300 w/ 1GB of RAM and a 6800 Go....this is only 8 months old and should be able to run it. Anybody have any idea what the issue is? Is it just the demo and the actual game is better tuned?

Well, your notebook may only be 8-months old but the 6800 go is a bit older. You may need to turn down the visual effects a bit.

Before resorting to that, however, make sure you have the latest drivers and the latest game update.

Check the specs for GRAW

I've purchased the game as well, and if you read the video card requirements carefully you see that laptop versions of the listed cards are NOT supported. That doesn't mean however that it won't work. I tried it on my M170/7800gtx and I can't really get any acceptable visuals at any res, just really horrible...

Well thats kinda dumb not to support the mobile versions of videocards. Pfft.

Yeh I have a XPS 2, 6800 Go, 2GB - and have to turn everything low at a low resolution - but then it is at least playable - and actually still enjoyable.

I read that on an M1710 it works lovely, I hate anyone that has one of those

Worked good on my XPS M170. 1440-900 was my max res. Max details but I turned shadows off. See to run decent. Even had some AF on as well.

The full games works good on my system. I have it at medium settings and 1280x768. Yes, latest drivers will help you, but don't use the Dell ones. They are 6 months old so get some from laptoptogo or Xtreme-G's. The demo worked for me too before I had the full game.
