SATA controller drivers problem with XP Pro install.

Thread Starter
So i had XP pro SP2 installed on this machien @ one point, but Xp broke itself. (what a surprise)
So as always, i was able to boot to safemode and back-up my stuff to D:, so when i go to install, it wants the RAID/SATA drivers for the installation...F6, easy enough, now to where it becomes a pain in my arse...after loading said drivers to see drives, i format C: and goto install, now it wants those same drivers to install but expects them to be on CD.. no can do...and after the first stage of the installation is done, it reboots...and then it BSOD's on me saying it was shut down due to possible viri....yeah...whatever...and i no clue what to do now and im about to start ripping hair out...
please help me.....

Why do you say it expects them on the cd? I just left the floppy connected with the driver disc inside and Windows loaded them from the floppy during installation. You can also slipstream the drivers and burn a new XP CD with nlite.
