best Sager resellers?

Haha what a shame... I was like 2 weeks from buying a 9750 from PCT and it closed on me D:

Anyways, any suggestions where I can get a good deal on Sager notebooks (besides the Sager site itself). So far I only have powernotebooks.com which is actually a bit cheaper than PCT for the same 9750 build. Other than price, the only other factor I'm interested in is the OS. I already have the XP Pro software that I can install myself and I really do not want to spend extra dollars on an OS I'm going to uninstall right when I get it.

Over the past 5 years have bought 3 Sagers from Powernotebooks. Always had a good experience with them and still use my last a 5680. If a buy a Sager for my next notebook I wouldnt hesitate to buy from them again.

Just bought a 9750 from discountlaptops.com- pretty painless transaction. The 7900 gtx 256 is pretty nice.

ISTNC hands down i just purchased the 12"er in my sig and he answered all my questions before buying and didnt try to steer me to something more expensive. actually told me what was better for the money and at the same time it was cheaper. you can chat with the owner of ISTNC live on aim. his screen name is ISTNC

ISTNC isn’t a Sager reseller. They sell Clevo units and just attach Sager’s model numbers and graphics and pretend they are Sager models. Look into a bit more deeply they are not a company capable of buying directly from Clevo so If you buy a unit from them you won’t be getting Sager after sale service, and with the correct sources of their unit masked this way, I would step very carefully before buying from them.

ISTNC is a reseller of the CLEVO units yes. They're a very reputable reseller and are not dishonest or cheating in any way. The service from them is much better than the direct Sager service. ISTNC will be responsible for all support and they're more than capable of doing that.

My next notebook purchace Clevo or not will probably be from them.

clevo makes units for sager so you arent getting the "SAGER" brandname whopdy doo that doesnt mean you will get better service just because it has that name. Infact the larger the ammount of customers that the company has, the less likely that you are to be treated like an individual and more like a RMA number but thats just my .02cents

I purchased mine from powernotebooks.com and was extremely impressed with the customer service and the help I got in the whole process. A very professional and courteous group of people although their website seems a little on the religious side. LOL! Maybe that's their strength.

I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. I never brought it up before out of courtesy because I like these forums but I guess that's all good now.
