Question to any Sony SZ series notebook owners

Quick question guys to any Sony SZ series owners. I notice the Sony laptops on the touchpad don't have any markings on the right side or bottom for the vertical and horizontal scroll function like my Dell Inspiron 9300 does and was wondering if Sony touchpads have that functionality to scroll with the touchpad. Am about to buy the Sony VGN-SZ120P but need to know before I buy. Thx in advance.

The touchpad on my SZ280 supports both H and V scrolling functions, they just did not include the markngs.

I've got a SZ1XP (UK model) and certainly the touchpad scrolls fine.

All Sony Notebooks have the H + V scroll feature. They are however not labled.

Where is it situated? I tried the inside and ouside edge of my touchpad and nothing is happening.

You may have to enable it on the touchpad configuration. I know that the utility to control the touchpad on my Vaio has several options including H/V scrolling and program shortcuts.
