I would like to stream tv shows from my WinTV-PVR-USB2 on my Inspiron 700m to my desktop PC on the same network. I've tried the following with no success:
Windows Media Encoder
Orb
Unreal Media Server
Star Media Center
I've had limited success (i.e., lots of stuttering, disconnects) with VideoLAN, but only if I transcode with a delay. The only software that has worked well enough has been SageTV, but that costs quite a bit.
Has anyone had any success with any other software? Or suggestions for tweaks for the free ones? Thanks.
