Windows activation issue

Hi, I have a original windows key, however this windows is in german, I want to install a windows in english. Will I be able to activate this windows (in english) with my key?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to; You should probably contact microsoft directly on the issue if you're trying to mind your licencing issues.

p.s. I'm assuming this is on a Sony computer?

Thaks for your reply, but unfortunately I wasn't even able to find a copy of windows that accepted my serial. I guess I'll have to by a new windows.

ps:Yes, it's a Vaio Fe-21.
