Hi, I have just brought myself a new (well newly purchased, but old) IBM 240x laptop off ebay for a hundred quid. The system requirements are as follows: 500mhz P3 CPU, 192mb Ram, 2mb Graphics Card. Now, I want to be able to watch Digital TV on my laptop, and while these specs seem fine for analogue tuners I have seen, the video card is not good enough for digital. I am not too concearned about quality of the video (320x240 would be fine, the screen is only 10" anyway) or recording TV and would like to know if there are any digital USB sticks out there that would run with my laptop. I dont see why they should need a better graphics card than analogue provided I watched the TV at a low resolution. If not, would my only other option be to buy an analogue tuner that accepted video inputs and then connect this up to a digibox? Anyway, thanks for your time and I would be very greatful for any advice!
Thanks, Robbie.
Thanks, Robbie.
