So, did anybody unlock those extra pipes reported by Rivatuner on the 7800go? I've read bits and pieces here and there, but there's no thread that deals specifically with this issue... until now.. What are the success/failure stories? Come on, share your knowledge..

My understanding is they are laser cut, I know in the case of my Desktop ATI card I was able to fix a laser cut track once, but not sure if anyone has looked into that option here

Why don't you try it and report back to us?

They're laser cut as far as I can tell. I was jackin' with Riva Tuner last night and it sees the pipes but I can't enable them :-(

Let me know if anyone else has any luck.

I don't know if this is possible, but could it be possible to rewrite the bios with NBITor, or something of the like, and enable them in the bios?
