Dell with Apple OS??

Engadget has reported something kinda weird. http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/29/a...ver-downloads/
Maybe just an error but Dell has said it wanted to sell macs before.

If they dont offer it as an option when buying the thing, I dont see why they would provide drivers for it.

I hope they do port OSX onto a dell, I would buy it for sure.

hmm they have already very successfully hacked it and using partition magic dual booted xp and osx i believe.

pretty sure i saw a thread somewhere here on it

You can in theory put OSX on your PC. It doesn't always work, but some guys have had success using Acronis for dual booting and using a hacked version of OSX. JAS and HOTISO are two releases of the hacked copy of OSX. I failed to get it to work on my Inspirion 1150 though. I didn't try too hard in all honesty.

About the OSX stuff on dell.com. It's supposedly for printer drivers. Don't get your hopes up!
