I have a Toshiba Satellite M70 SR3. It was in hibernation mode with the lid closed and the battery charger plugged in. Normally, when I open the lid, it's supposed to automatically start up Windows again. But this time, all I get is a black screen. I can't do anything, not even shut down the laptop. The only thing I can tell that's happening is that the fan is running like crazy and the laptop is getting kinda hot. This is about the third time this has happened in the 6 months I've had this laptop. The previous two times, I just waited for the battery to die and everything was back to normal when I started the laptop up again.
Please, does anyone know what is causing this and what I can do to shut down the laptop?
