Laptop to TV problem

should be simple, it's not

got a s video to scart cable and hooked it up to my TV. messed about with settings, can't get it working.

ive an acer ferrari 4005 with ATI graphics card.

What exactly is the problem? Lack of video, fuzzy/snowy video, loss of color? Gotta ba bit more specific.

What drivers are you using. How are you trying to set up the video out; through the control panel, or using the FN Keyboard keys? Yeah, you really gotta be more specific so we can help.

No video at all!! not a tap despite messing about with settings.

im using the latest omega drivers, have an s-video to scart lead with audio plugs.

have the s video connected to the laptop, with the scart and plugs in the TV. FN keys won't work and ive 3 AV channels, tried them all.

also tried to setup using control panel, reduced the res etc... nothing

It should work to go to Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced and then find something there that will either be called displays, tv or something. Adjust those settings to include the TV out and you should be ok.
