D820 3DMark05 Scores (posted)

I know a few of you (myself included) were interested in the performance of the 120m card so I ran 3DMark05 and here is what I came up with.

First, no overclock 450/700:

Then, overclock 550/850:

I just ran the test without making any changes to any options. Temperature of the card only reached a max of 75C on overclock, not too bad. This computer stays pretty cool even after a couple of hours of CSSource. Anywho, im not savy enough to determine the quality or lack of on these scores, but please feel free to comment!

Not too bad I guess. I do notice however a significant increase in performance from the overclock! I was considering returning the unit when it played so crappy at first but now is all good.

That seems really low to me. What is the equivalent of that card? My i9300 with a 6800go in it scores higher, and I was contemplating buying one of these machines...

It's not supposed to be comparable to the 6800 go. It's certainly one of the higher scores for a dell 15".

While I understand that, I was just expecting the new line of Quadro to at least be kind of similar in speeds to 7200-7600 cards, which on occasion are better than the 6800 cards. My 6800 is not the Ultra version either. I guess I was disappointed to see those scores, and was wondering what the home-user name of the same card would be. For example, the 2500 card in the m90 is the same thing as the 7900 in the m1710.

The 120M is based on the go7400. And of the new low-to-midrange cards, only the go7600 would have any hope of being comparable to your 6800.
