Didn't see it posted elsewhere. Sorry if it's a repost.

way too pricey for what you get. the video card option is abyssmal.

This thing really is a show stopper especially the 20,1 inch display is impressive, but the price is very high and I would prefer an GeForce go 7900 GTX in it, cause I think the X1800 with only 256 MB can't compete with the 7900 GTX...

The 20 inch screen is HUGE, it seems overpriced like the person above said. I am sure people will still buy them though. Just wait until some start showing up in the outlet, and you will probably be able to get them for around 2,000 with a good coupon. Well also I would want to wait for them to be around for a little while to see some benchmarks and reviews on it. I am especially curious on how good the screen is, since its the first of its kind.

Yes, you would think there would be something better in there. I assume there we be more video options around the corner, maybe SLI.

I don't like at all... Its not a laptop anymore

It's not meant to be a laptop though.

I'm disappointed by the specs, I was expecting something more along the level of a Clevo D900* but in a bigger case so better cooling.

I've been looking forward to the release of this; and would be interested in buying one if there was a decent video option and WUXGA. WSXGA+ on a 20" screen isn't enough resolution for me to switch from my 17".

well if it had a x1900XTX it would be considerable
post #10 of 19
Well, if they put in the 7900GTX.... this thing would be so amazing.... if i had the money and it had the GTX, i would have it in an instant

Only having the mobility radeon X1800 (keep in mind this is not even the XT version) , which is even weaker than a stock vanilla go 7800, not Dell stock, but Nvidia reference clocks. (http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle....no=305&pgno=5). This is indeed very disappointing for those looking to use the M2010 as a long lasting gaming machine.

I think the XPS 700 is overpriced like hell.... when using the same configs on XPS600 and 700.... your basically paying 300$ more for the case

They really dropped the ball on this one ... I mean, it looks cool ... but why an x1800? For that much money, you think that they'd fit a top-of-the-line video card in to it evne if it meant tweaking the cooling.
I agree. Only an X1800? And also the resolution on that screen should have definately been 1920x1200. I don't get it. That's a premium price and the held back on the specs..
Does not make any sense. I was expecting SLI 512mb 7900 GTX.
That ATI x1800 is no way near 7900GTX
