so I reinstalled windows on my friends laptop. I had to delete the c:\ partition due to coruuption and it would not allow me to reformat it. when I did this the d:\(ibm service) partition became the
c:\(ibm service) . I then installed windows xp on the d:\ drive. But now after a few updates throgh the thinkvantage updater, the laptop everytime boots into the thinkvantage resuce and recovery OS. The only way i have found to get back into windows is to go to troubleshooting and then "diagnosing Hardware " option which will boot me into windows.
how can I get around this.
