I got BSOD for Dump of Physical Memory i was looking at my Free ramXP and it said i had 2mb of memory free and then it just went to the BSOD. I was burning dvds but stopped and went to log on AIM when this happend. Is this a one time thing or is my PC going to explode or something or is my harddrive messed up. I ran system diagnostics and everything seems fine my memorys working and everything. What could have caused this?

What version of XP are you running. And was there any other kind of error code from the BSOD? And when you rebooted, did it say "the system has recovered from a serious error" and automatically load a MS website with information?

In my experience, these are usually caused by certain device drivers. Had you installed anything new lately?

next time you catch that BSOD look down 3/4 of the way and spot out nv4.dll or nv4.dsp as the cause of the bsods.
