Mine's been in boxing all day. I had considered calling and cancelling and attempting to order another one to get a better deal, but I'm not sure I wanna press my luck or if I want to wait even longer for it.

LOL! Clearly you don't know how Dell works

Boxing also includes the time it takes to get the notebook sent from Malaysia (or where else it's built). Expect boxing to last maybe 4 days or so. Then it ships from the USA to you.

Relax. Boxing takes days, and it's NORMAL!

Mine has shipped

I ordered my M1210 to first day it came available. It shipped today with expected delivery June 9 to June 13. Soooo not so bad for what seems like a high demand puter.

Yeah, mine finished testing Friday morning so it took that long to get it over to the U.S and out the door to be shipped. Patience, patience. Like I always say. You need to slow down to speed up.

Mine says shipped! With my previous orders when it said shipped i'd get it the next morning before receving my tracking # which would be right on track with the estimate of June 7th. That is with the required overnight shipping to Hawaii. Also received my 2.0ghz Merom ES today too so i'll pop that in when it comes and let everyone know the results.

Yeah sort of weary since the guy with the E1405 and the Merom which was overheating and mentioned it'd probably work great in the e1505.. but he decided it was due to the bios. Hopefully since the M1210 shipped so close to the release date of the Merom it will be capable out of the box.. I don't see why not the TPS is 31w on the 2.0ghz Merom.. I think the 2.16ghz CoreDuo is 35w?

Whoa, that's fast. I ordered mine the day it came out too (from Hawaii), but it still hasn't even got past the pre-production phase.

What'd were the specs on your M1210? I'm thinking that maybe there's a particular part that's holding everything up for me...

No camera

Oh and I didn't pay extra for audigy but on my order details page it says "Built In Audigy Sound" wonder if I will end up with it and not have to pay to activate it.

Hmm... I think the only significant between your M1210 and mine is that I ordered a 2.0 Ghz w/the camera and WWAN antenna. Other than that, it's all pretty much the same...

Maybe their highly-advertised A/V Communications bundle is what's holding it up...?

hmmm....I didn't get the camera either. I've actually been in some "high security" places where you have to check your phones, laptops, or anything else with a built in camera, so I opted not to get it. I wonder if they don't have any of the models without the cameras and not getting it is actually delaying the order?

ES = Engineering Sample

I've seen some in the buy/sell threads and Ebay - most likely sourced from intel employees or other approved evaluators that apparently don't have to give them back after testing.
