I got mine this morning. Impressive little machine. I do see what people mean, with regard to the screen. You have to fiddle around with the viewing angle until you find the perfect view.

Does the xps m1210 have the battery that sticks out the back or not? Is that only with the 9 cell or is the 6 the same. And if it does indeed stick, what do you guys think of that because its really driving me away......

Here's a pic of my M1210. I put a sheet of standard 8.5"X11" paper on top for reference. This pic has the 9-cell battery installed. The 6-cell doesn't stick out at all.

the 6-cell does stick out a bit, but not much.

Anyone has screenshot of m1210 with 6-cell on it? Just curious about the 6-cell as I plan to order some accessories (extra battery 6-cell or 9-cell, auto-air adapter, 5.1 surround notebook speakers etc) for m1210 next week.
I currently have 9-cell only and that will only give me 4 hours outside so I thought another battery is what I really need and/or auto-air adapter so I can recharge the battery in the car or any compatible power outlet.

Watch out for the Dell Photo Gallery section these few days.... I'll soon be posting pics of the M1210 6 cell batt vs 9 cell batt.

Mine just hit Calgary Alberta an hour ago so it looks like Monday for me

I can't even go and pick it up when it gets here today since it is in my bosses name and they won't let me upgrade it to a Saturday delivery!!

I guess i shouldn't complain in the end I only have to pay 25% of it
