Yep - that memory clock is real low. The specs should be:
x1600 = 12 pipes, 5 vertex units, 128 bit mem (470/470)
I have a feeling, that since acer is using the same case as the x1400 (which we know runs cooler), they backed down the clocks a bit to reduce the heat. I bet if you clocked it up to where it should be, things would be right on track.
However, I still wouldn't be disappointed with the new laptops guys. Your frames will still be close to double the x1400, even if an artifical bench doesn't show it.
