CSS FPS drop with new driver?

Hi,

I install the new 84.25 driver and test with CSS stress test and got a result of 84fps. any idea why that might happen? It used to be at 143fps...

3DMark05 still the same arounde 7400 with 7800 GTX

It could be that it is set on quality instead of performance.

I have set the image quality to "high performance". 3DMark05 and 06 were normal, but I got drop in CCS sstree fps rates.

Those are not the newest driver.
Maybe the performance was affected due to the new update from Steam?

same issue

I have had the same issue with my FPS going down. I can't narrow it down if it's the new Steam update or drivers? I have used Driver Cleaner and tried different drivers so I'm saying it's the new steam updates. For a second there I thought they put HDR in the stress test.

Try rolling back. I am using 84.43's with no issues for quite some time.

The fps rates jupm up and down from 84~107fps. Weird.

Yea, Funny how that a constantly changing 3d scenario actually requires different amounts of processing and thus the frame rate doesnt stay constant? ...

don't mock him, i am getting the same problem... my fps goes from 30's to 100's+ lilke 10 times a second in the same area... are you running 90's?
