How to get the "Debug Port test set" and "Diagnostics Disk" ??

GREAT Job.. Keep it up

I was working with notebooks 10 years ago and still have this hobby in me

I came across a Satellite 5205-S505 of a friend of mine and was trying to fix it.. It won't POST.. Well I have to say that this site was the most helpful one I saw over the internet

I'm willing to go to an extra step..

I want to have or make the "Debug Port test set" and also the "Diagnostics Disk" in order to be able to conduct the tests and fix the BIOS. I tried with no luck so I thought of asking the experts..

I think the "Diagnostics Disk" could be downloaded from the www.service.toshiba.com but I don't have a login for that site . As for the "Debug Port test set" I'm guessing it is just a cros s-over serial cable.. I could be wrong

Any advice experts ??..
