I've been searching for my first ever laptop and was very close to purchasing the 5672 and then the 5652 for it's superior graphics until I found out about Acer's new notebook soon to be released. The Acer Aspire 9110 (9112 and 9114). The 9112 has the T2300 and the 9114 the T2500 and the spec looks fantastic. Both models come with the Geforce 7600 and built in TV and cam:

I've also found it on the Polish Acer website. Perhaps they are simply just first to add it to their site or maybe they're first to get the machine I don't know. Anyway it appears the 9110 will be out very soon.

On website is not necessarily in stock (even if website says "in stock", but you know that). Wonder what the announced price-cut of Duos will subtract from this?
If only they would leave out the TV; I don't want to end up paying a license fee for a laptop.

Are they Windows MCE?

That's got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read!

Ditto. Even if you're in a country like the UK with a TV license fee, then you just buy a different model that doesn't have the TV capability in it... Don't complain if a model has features you don't want, because the rest of us might!

Exactly and not only that, you pay a TV licence fee for your property and not on individual TV's, regarless of the number of TV's you have. If you wanted to plug your home televison aerial into a laptop with TV capabilities then it would be at no extra cost to what you currently pay for your licence so i really can't understand where this guy is coming from!

Well, that *does* assume that he's in the UK (or another country that charges per household). Not all do - for example Pakistan charges (or used to?) per TV.
