Now that summer is coming, I find a need to underclock/undervolt my CPU. Right now, the 6x multiplier runs at .7V using NHC, however, the temps are still around 120F idle (no dust, normal fan, AS5). When it bumps up to 18x, I've seen temps as high as 175F. In NHC, there are a lot of voltage increments, but the multipliers doesn't exactly go as is, they skip a few eacy multiply. Can I simply crank down each multiplier to the next highest voltage starting from .7V? Will it affect performance of the highest multiplier?
