Ebay does it again - Page 2

ALWAYS request the SERVICE TAG from any DELL you get off Ebay prior to purchasing. You have grounds to dispute this no problems, but if you run into problems with this pm me I can help you along the way on the steps, I have already successfully sued one person after they sent me nothing at all on a laptop I won. =)

anyways im here to ask for some help.. i plan to upgrade to a 6800 or 7800 (non-GTX).. can anyone reply with a link on a how-to installation for a 6800/7800 on a Inspiron 9400/e1705? thanks!
I would never buy a laptop off of ebay. Too many scammers these days.

I agree with pretty much all of these posts.

GET YOUR MONEY BACK! that guy is jacking you.

On top of that, if you do get your money back you could pretty much buy BRAND NEW that same system from dell for pretty much the same price They have those $750 off coupons floating around. I got the E1705 with 1.83, Geforce 7900GS, 1 gig, intel wireless, bluetooth, whoopty dooo screen, and a 60 gig for 1400 (after taxes.)

on top of that I KNOW that it has a Geforce card in it because I ordered it that way.

What do you expect buying a laptop from eBay. You deserve it.

Why do people keep talking about "workarounds" for installing graphics cards in a motherboard with integrated graphics? You're physically incapable of installing one, as with the Intel GMA950 chipset, there is no PCI-E slot for a graphics card.

There is no workaround nor will there ever be one. No one is working on one. The end.

for anyone that is curious..
Final Fantasy XI (max game FPS is 29)
Weather Effect: OFF
Jeuno: 15FPS, Valkrum Dunes: 29FPS, Full PT Battle: 15-20 FPS

Warcraft III Frozen Throne
800x600 x16
All Settings: Medium
Playable with no lag.

Yeah, why would you settle for something that is obviously not what you bought? There are rules on ebay to protect you. Contact the seller and give him/he an adendum to follow. If they don't, take it to the next level.

Why do people just settle for whatever they get??? Bullshit!

You deserve negative rep for that comment. Nobody deserves anything like that. NOBODY.
