I reformated it first off...something I do to all purchased machines....Had to call tech support twice to ask a few questions....man it was great to speak with someone I can understand nd can understand me....very polite and well spoken techs...man that was a big change from what I went thru with Dell over the last 2 years.....\OK.....SWEET MACHINE....was disapointed that a weeks after ordering this Hypersonic started to offer the 7900gtx.....well Pat Got involved to see what the problem was with ship date and when she checked.....she was able to get Hyoersonic to upgrade my 7800GTX to the new 7900GTX..Pat is a sweetheart .....I am very happy I ordered this and would recomend them to anyone and by the way this is going so far I would order from them again..the fans arent realy very loud...it does get warm..but thats expectable seeing how its basicaly a desktop put in a very smal case...I will add a review this weekend on the review column.....I am so happy I got it...played with it at work all day..turned off the light s in my office and hid in their all day...thank God nothing broke down today..it gave me all the time I needed to load all my progams and set this think up the way I like....got to go time to play

well I put it through its paces last night....I had it running from 4:30 pm untill 10:00 am this morning non stop......I loaded all sorts ot stuff to try out some I liked and kept some I didnt so uninstalled them....after about 5 hrs of doing this I wiped the the thing out again to do another clean install, deleted the raid volumes and re-created them then redone the whole system...so it was running hard for atleast 12w hours....no lock ups....not one glitch.....it got warm but realy not hot.......Then I fined tuned and tweaked windows......rant the pc pitstop utility and gained over 200 points...my score was 2397..........this is a graet score...on average it out performed similar systems by 5-10%....This G7 mouse is awesome.....I also have a Logitch 518 gaming mouse.....well I now can use eith one on either my XPS Desk top or this EX7.....they both use the same software ans it reconizes both...I belive since this is so powerfull I will have to see about buying the second optical drive,,,DVD.CD Recorder combo...this is a sweet machine...and al the folks I have dealt with at Hypersonic since recieving this have been outstanding......I have worked on/ repaired plus have owned several laptops over the last 7 years and this one has to be the best I have seen......thank you Hypersonic.......I may have to buy another one from them after windows vista comes out......the nxt one will be for mobility so it will be smaller...but still maxed out.......will write more in the proper forum soon...The sound is pretty good...not real loud but even with it turned up all the way its still clear with no distortion...windows update has new drivers fo the onboard sound ...has anyone tried them....I think they are newer and also...and realtek has s some drivers that just came out...anyone tried those yet.......again a sweet system

Definitely glad that things were going well with the system. Other than slight differences between the newer models and the earlier EX7 that I had - I was quite impressed with it and as you have said, it handles everything that I was throwing at it - except for the battery. It is a very nice machine!

Congrats on it's arrival and as posted in the reviews area, looking forward to seeing the pics and review! You can get a hat out of it and join the hat-wearer's group.
