Did you accidentally press the Fn and then the button to switch monitor modes? I don't have my laptop right here right now so I cannot tell you what key to hit in combination with the Fn key.

nope the system is hosed somehow. so its being sent back tomorrow.

Goodness. It sounds like both recent deliveries have been upsetting in one way or another. That doesn't bode well for my purchase choice.

they gave me a pretty quick turn around time of 9-11days so we will see..

9-11 additional days on top of your initial order, and you had to send it back for repairs within 3 days of receiving it?

Still a little upsetting, I'd say. I'm sorry for your frustration.
