Linux Live CD on 9750

Let me start by saying that I am a linux noob. Also, I can get the CD to boot and I log in and type startx. Everything seems fine, except it doesn't seem to recognize my network card. I can't get webpages or anything of the sort. I tried running some bash commands and had mixed results. When I used "iwconfig" it shows that there is wireless activity on ra0. But when I use "iwconfig ra0" it doesn't seem to do anything. Are there any other commands I can use to get this working. I would really appreciate any help because I am very new to this and rather clueless. Thanks in advance

Theres a Linux section here on NBF more info can be gotten there. But for the most part its very hard to get wireless to work in a linux environment.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I'll check into that and see if there's any way for me to get it working. Thanks again.
