Acer TM8204 experiences pros/cons

Hi,


As my signature says I'm thinking to buy the TM8204.
So I read many complaints and many who are as happy you can imagine.

I would like to know from you:
- where di you buy yours
- when
- pros as well as cons


thnx very much


(please keep it to these 3 items, I would like to make a summary of it and decide wether I will buy it)

Hit there:

- bought mines in central Europe
- January, February and twice March (several resellers, all units returned)

- PROS:

- very nice specs
- suitable to my needs
- keyboard
- powerful graphics
- supberb design


- CONS:

- poor screen quality
- dead pixels
- background graphical noise making it useless for me (photgrapher)
- buzzing graphic card
- bad experience with support

thanks for the responses (also the oen above this)
I just watched the episode, it has no BIG probrems, but it still leaves me with serious doubts
i'll think about this when i finally decide in july

I bought mine in Canada, in the beginning of March, but it's January batch (0601).

Pros: tech specs, size, look, battery life

Cons: poor quality control (at least with some early batches), buggy software, poor screen quality, vent blows hot air stright into your hand when you use a mouse, poor quality of the Bluetooth Phone.

Rest of cons are actually issues, related to some batches or particular notebooks. If you want I can list all the problems I have/had with my notebook.
