Great free program.

why wud the cache have any effect on me being able to get to a website or not
post #7 of 16
Not sure, where its affecting both programs - then its probably not the cache... Have you restarted?

i've restarted since i've had the problem, i've yet to clear the cache yet. I downloaded that ccleaner program and i can't see where it says it will clear firefox cache too

When u first start it up you will see two tabs under cleaner settings. One says 'windows' and the other 'applications'. Click on the 'applications' one.

Spyware? Virus? Try the free online scan at:

Ya man, if the problem is with AIM, IE, and Firefox, then its something messing with your internet connection, not individual programs.

Run an anti-virus, spyware/adware program, restart, and your problem will be solved.

What sort of connection are you using? I've seen people enter passwords/usernames wrong for DSL lines which causes the same sort of problems.
