Im going to post this in the P2p Support too... heres the problem... sometimes randomly the screen will go fritzy on me... Like all of the sudden its like a really bad TV, everything distorted moving and in lines nad you cna barely read anything... Now heres what I've done... If I restart its still there.... but it waits to start untill windows starts... it usually fixxes itself if i leave it alone for a long time turned off... ALSO during the peirod that i kept restarting i noticed safe mode was unaffected... So thats good... but when i went out of safe mode and restarteed it was back to normal... then I tried playing games.... what triggers it is the menu from bf1942... thats lal ive sene trigger it so far except random stuff like IE wondows sometimes and opening folders.... I wish i knew what the problem was... Someone please help

Trying hooking the laptop up to an external moniotor and see if the problem persists... if it doesnt it is likely a monitor issue....

if it does still happen its likely a driver/video issue...

Well some options are....

Re-install the OS (i know that does suck)

re-install drivers.

have you called AW?

I really think you might try what Jamaster originally said. Hook it up to a monitor. I would guess based on what the screen is doing that it is more likely hardware. If you plug it into the monitor and the laptop lcd is wacko and the monitor is fine, your looking at a hardware issue. I don't have an AW but from reading an earlier thread, you hit the fn+Display key, if that's wrong, someone correct me. If the monitor switch is not working then you may be looking at an entirely seperate hardware issue. Did you mean you tried switching to the monitor and it didn't work when you said you can't switch over for some reason. Or did you mean it didn't display just by plugging in the monitor?
