If you installed it into the new partition then there should be a list of two OS's to choose from when you start the computer. Did you install Vista into a separate partition?

can someone answer my question?

For me it would be curiosity. However, others will need to look at new technologies (soft. developers), new APIs whatever. Anyway, I'm not installing it...

omg you and your linux. It got old seeing nearly every one of your posts being about linux/apple months ago.

end rant.

Not only I don't need it, but long ago ended the time when you should pay a premium for a good OS. I paid a lot for XP, and won't do it again...

I'm too lazy to switch for good now, but I know I will end doing that in the future (today I still need some windows-only apps - read: adobe apps).

this is a well-justified remark here whereas i am not going to pay $300 for a buggy not full-featured (although fuller than xp) piece of software. some of its hidden features like drm protection (not that i use limewire to download music/movies... but still) just don't turn me on. i'd rather be using an OS that i know whats going on under the hood and that also tends to be free, full featured, and more stable.
