HELP with turning on asus s96j wireless internet

i got a newly built s96j, installed xp sp2, all the drivers and i can't get fn+f2 to work to turn on my wireless card. i can get online with the cat5 plugged in but wireless is a no go. the software is telling me that wireless is off, but it's detected just off. everything's installed correctly, is there another way to turn on wireless?

Maybe you installed the card wrong or you didnt install the drivers properly?

I would try the ASUS forum

Did you install the software and drivers on the CD?

There should be the Wireless Control Utility 2.0 and the Intel PROset/Wireless icons down near your clock. With the Control Utility you can turn wireless on or off.
