M1710 - Quicksnap Cover Removal

How do you remove the lcd quicksnap cover on the M1710? Ive searched for tutorials and on dells site without success.

Take a look at the manual for your machine on dell.com, should be under support, then enter your service tag or modle, and select manual.

They have picture directions to remove pretty much everything else, I dont see why they wouldnt have directions to remove the quick snap cover.

I had the same problem. Pop off the hinge cover, then you can pop it off easier. I had a hard time trying not to scratch it till I popped off the hinge.
