Hi I hope someone can shed some light on this. Sometimes my 5652 does not boot into windows, instead I get the initial black windows xp boot up screen and before it reaches the login screen the screen just goes black and im forced into a restart and the only way to make windows boot again is to force a run of chkdsk by going into safe mode with command prompt, pressing ESC when loading Mup.sys and typing chkdsk /r at the command prompt which as you know sets chkdsk to run on next restart and repair any errors it finds.
This is now becoming annoying as chkdsk is not the quickest of processes especially when repairing. Does anyone else who owns this model experience the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.
