Does Dell email the tracking number?

I can't seem to find my tracking number when I check my order status. Do they Email it to you?

I receieved my notebook before my Order appeared on teh website. Strangely enough, I got a confirmation number/Order number etc but when I checked, I had no orders listed with Dell. Four days later...the book showed up on my doorstep.

I thought they would at least give you a tracking number for the shipment... odd

Yeah, I never found my order status to show up on their website. I know most people see it being built, boxed, etc.

Regardless, expect it a LOT sooner than you think as Dell has drop stations all over. I thought I'd have to wait at least a week as I thought all Dell's were shipped out of TX. My Dell was shipped out from somewhere in my home state of Cali.

It shipped today, early in the morning (Thursday). I don't expect it to show up until Monday or Tuesday at the soonest.

I got my tracking number a day after the laptop arrived! Go Dell.

I just received my laptop...it shipped on the 11th...got here today (Washington, DC). If you are as obsessive compulsive as I am, you can get the tracking number from a Dell representative. The website seems to be a day behind.
