USB Mouse Preventing Pwr Mgt?

Hey Guys,
Any of you have this problem? I have a USB Logitech Cordless Optical Notebook Mouse that seems to be preventing my system from going into any kind of standby mode.
Here's the error message:
System Standby Failed:
The device driver for the "HID-compliant Cordless Mouse' device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update the driver."

Anybody have any suggestions?

Could be the driver or another program. My Dell laptop had a similiar problem except it was yelling about the keyboard. It turned out to be a Remote Management program (like PCAnywhere). It had a hook into the keyboard driver and caused this issue. I believe Dell or Microsoft has published an update to the USB problem do a search on both sites and also on Dell's Forums. This is a common problem.

Thanks for the response.. It seems to be working for the moment..
I disabled the resume power w/ device setting under the mouse and that seemed to work.. It'll go into standby now, but i have to wake it up using the pad or stick, anything but the mouse.. Go figure?
I'll keep ya posted.. I'm surprised no one else has had an issue w/ this.
Thanks,
ks
