Power on and off with Bluetooth module?

Okay, so I bought the bluetooth 350 module on ebay. Worked like a charm. Yesterday I was able to use the icon in the taskbar to turn power on and off. Today I tried to turn it on and it says to use my Fn button and f2. That however just turns off my wireless and does nothing for the bluetooth. Is there a workaround for this? I don't want to have to leave bluetooth on at all times due to battery life. I re-installed the drivers/software I downloaded from Dell and it's currently working again but I hesitate to turn the power off again. Any suggestions??

Thanks,

Go to your QuickSet options. I personally configured FN + F2 to turn off Bluetooth only. If I want to turn wireless off, I figure I can muster up energy to do that through the systray.

On a similar note, when I use QuickSet to make Fn-F2 only enable/disable Wifi (but not Bluetooth), it turns Bluetooth ON permanently.

That kind of defeats what I was trying to do: I hardly use Bluetooth and would like to only enable it when needed. So, when I'm on the road and I want to maximize battery life, I want to ONLY have Wifi on (BT off) -- playing with the BT icon in the system tray reveals no option to disable BT either.
