I know the feeling. The day I sold my Windows notebook my wife says "I guess we should go to the Apple Store." Huh? Did I hear that right? She took me down there and we picked out a nice shiny MBP and threw in a video iPod for good measure. Felt so good.

Peace.

Grats. New MacBook along with a free ipod nano or a $179 discount on the ipod of your choice. Also, check to see about the free printer deal too, or should I say, $100 off a printer.

I've never used a mac before. Just love the design and built quality. I've a dell E1505. it's big and heavy, but for dell's price, who can complain? maybe i will establish a company, app-del, apple's design and quality sold at dell's price looking forward to the pictures and review if you'd like to

I can. Then again, I find the 15" Macbook to be to large and heavy.

Assume you mean the 15" MacBook Pro...I guess it's large and heavy if you are used to an ultra light, but for the 15.4" display, it's one of the lightest/thinnest on the market. It's all about what people get used to.

wow, congrats! Thats one nice laptop. I love the looks of and you got a great price. The pricing on the macbooks are great! Also when it gets warm, is it like so warm you can't lay your hand on or is it just kinda warm?

Well when you charge your batteries and when the computer is on it gets really hot on the botton when you touch it it kinda burns a little. But when you finish charging it cools down a bit.

love the pics! actually makes me wish i picked a white macbook!!!

i also just bought a nintendo DS lite that looks like a mini version of a macbook, just wish nintendo was releasing them in black!!

btw, .Mac sucks balls, only good thing about it is that i piad $60 instead of $100

Actually, .Mac has some good features. I find the iDisk very useful, as well as the backup program. I keep copies of stuff that is important on iDisk, and also use it to transfer files sometimes.

Yeah, its convenient, but its cheaper to just upload what I need to an email or even carry around a flash drive. That'd be the only thing useful to me. I like the email domain name, but I probably won't use it.

Link to the photo album. There's a couple more pics in there of the MacBook in a CaseLogic 13' sleeve that fits perfectly... almost as if CaseLogic made it for the MacBook

Nice black MacBook I wanted one but it was too much lol they charge like 150 more that is why I went with the white one.

Yeah... Black or white would of been fine with me. I'm still undecided on which on I like better. I like the look of black, but its a pretty boring color and people may confuse it with a PC laptop :/ The white screams of Apple design, but I didn't like the off color of the keyboard/screen bezel and it wasn't as smooth as black.

I plan on buying an iMac (or maybe a PowerMac Tower) and that would have looked better with the white, but whatever... both colors are fine to me.
