Bought one myself. Still don't know if I will be lugging TheBeast around, but at least this will give me the option...

Kinjiru pretty much nailed everything.

Motherboard Model: Clevo nVidia CK804
Motherboard Chipset: nVidia nForce4 SLI + CK8-04 MCP

One thing I don't like is where they put the delete keys! One above the 7 on the numpad then one like 2 keys away from that key.. up and to the left, next to pause break!

As far as heat, it has never even gotten warm for me! Buuuuuut! After only having it 2 weeks, somehow THREE of the FIVE fans managed to stop working correctly. When I turn it on, they all turn on for about 3 seconds, then turn off and only the 2 over the CPU come on..the rest stay off, no matter the temperature.

I have an AX9 on order. I ordered it on 6/27 and it is just in the incarnation phase after 16 days. Is this normal? Their order page stated 8-12 days.
Not terribly worried, but am getting itchy. Also, they upgraded me from DUAL 256's to DUAL 512's. Does that actually mean a GIG of video RAM?

It took about 3 months to get mine for me but partially due to a shipping address error! I ordered it in early March and didn't get it til the end of June. But also, that was when it was first released and it had got pushed back from being released on April 3rd. Soooo it got 'shipped' July 5th for me but because I was on a ship and out to sea there was a problem!

And yes, you're getting 2 GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512mb cards, vice the GeForce Go 7800 GTX 256mb cards...which I'm also upgrading on mine since I had to send it in for repairs and those cards weren't available at the time!

How much does that upgrade cost?

For me, my system had been on order for only a couple days and I saw the 7900's were being offered. I wanted to upgrade but was afraid of delaying my shipment when they called me and offered the 7900's for 100 bucks.
In a heartbeat.

can't beat that. Seems pretty reasonable.

welll! It seems either everyone gets them for free or pays something like $100 for the 7900 upgrades. I have to pay $485 to get mine upgraded plus it took me nearly 4 months to get my notebook and it broke within the first 2 weeks of owning it! But anyways...$485 for me!

Yeah, I got the 7900gtx256's of course now you can get the 512mb cards ad the raid 0 dual HD's on it.

I'm done throwing cash on it though. I can live with what I got.
