My Dell 20.1" system

How do you like my hot Dell workstation? This is the Real Deal... loaded with 392 Mb RAM, two 20 Gb drives, Compaq keypad, and a Logitech wireless trackball. I actually do professional software development on this piece of junk... Java web apps, Windows apps, etc. Sure takes a long time to swap all that memory to disc!

Best part... provided by the employer! I just have to do my own admin, since I work from home.

All that dust, heat... and this Dell thing keeps on doing the Right Thing. Had this 4 yrs, since my prior Dell got blown up by lightning.

That is without a doubt the sexiest machine I have ever seen.

Put chrome on the fans, make the access panel open automatically, and don't forget about the flip open screen that will pop up from a DVD drive!
Not to mention putting satin in the monitor and spray painting the keyboard black or some other color to match the computer.

That's not enough. There's no wow factor, it's predictable. Use an old Cadillac hood ornament, and some sort of mini beverage cooler. That's a start.

I could offer 5 bucks for the 5/12 power supply, but in fact, it is I that should be paid for having taken it off the trash heap, thus relieving the company of a hefty fine for increasing environmental pollution! Moreover, the money I've saved the company in self-administration would surely offset the 5 beans for the power supply. Regardless, I've not worked there in over 6 years.

Since I have put up with this excuse for a workstation for several years, I've finally decided to buy my own dv8000t. Just waiting to see when this dv9000 will come out. Think I'll get the 8000 from Costco, then return it later for a 9000.

-Don't forget you need a bottle opener mounted on the computer for it to be truly pimped

Upgraded Dell Blingomatic 2006-xpsabc

I've carefully considered everyone's input, and have upgraded my workstation appropriately. Please review the pic, and provide your valued comments.
