XTreme-G MobileForce 91.31-v2.40 RELEASED!!!

This driver set is version 91.31-v2.40. The second of NVIDIA's Official Beta ForceWare 90 drivers, this seems to be a quite solid driver, and it fixes several issues that were present in the 91.28 driver that preceeded it. As always, these drivers have been tweaked in a way that only an XTreme-G driver can be, and I've been quite impressed with the driver in the testing that I've done. As always, have some fun, play some games, and I hope this driver works out well for you all. Good luck, and leave some feedback!!!

This driver has been fixed to solve the problem of files being missing that users were having.

I get during installation "Setup cannot copy the file nvdispsr.dll" It cannot seem to find this file in the xtreme-g folder.

Perhaps try to redownload the driver?

Anyone else with this error?

Same error here. I cancelled and hit continue with install, and it popped up a few more times. About five or six .dll's in all that it can't copy.

Interestingly enough, it still runs ok. But 3dmark won't complete, and is running at slower framerates than with Dell's stock driver. And then there's that stupid issue where the damn screen won't shut off with any driver other than Dell's.

Guess I'll go back to Dell's stock for now.

OK... I think I know what the problem is, and I'm removing the download for now... I'm going to release a MobileForce 91.31-v2.40a within the next few hours, so stay tuned. Until then, the download is being removed...

Have you had a chance to look into the screen not turning off when closed problem by any chance? Your driver pwn GFT, BTW.

Setup.exe doesn't work. After the files extract the "Install drivers now etc." box is there. I checkmarked it and hit next or ok.

Nothing happened. Went into program files\xtreme-g folder. Clicked on setup.exe. Nothing happens.

I've never installed them this way.. I always use the "Have Disk..." method

Wil this work with a 7800 Go, or no?
Stupid question, will this work on a stock 7900GTX or would I have to flash the bios? How much of a performance increase is there over stock Dell Nvidia drivers?

Same question here--how about it Tony?

Great drivers! Thx!

M1710, 2.16, 2GB, 7900GTX

XTreme-G MobileForce 91.28-v2.40 (default image setting 'quality')
OC'ed 580/700=9217

XTreme-G MobileForce 91.31-v2.40 (default image setting 'quality')
OC'ed 580/700=9498

Thx penguin, It had slipped my mind about installing them that way.

Swat....no you don't have to flash your card, and in my opinion they are better than Dells drivers.

so, I'm going to say that these drivers have the BEST image quality I've ever seen!! I noticed details in 3dmark05 that I've never seen before. I lost a few points, but the IQ is simply amazing. colours are vibrant and everything comes to life.

Thanks brownstone, off to give them a try.

So, is this a confirmed issue? The installer is broken?

All I did was point to the right directory when updating the drivers, setup.exe didn't crash - it just didn't load. Not a big deal, pointing to the dir did the trick.

Ran 3dMark05 right after and got pretty much the same score (within a 10 pt difference) so I'm happy.

Good job on the drivers!
