Awesome job guys
i think we do need some verification of artifacting, I can score 5k easy on 3dmark06... as long as I completely ignore the massive amount of visual artifacts during the Return to ProxyCon and Firefly and DragonAirship and DeepFreeze sequences.

OK, maybe i am a bit jealous.. hee hee, but yeah, artifact scores are a bit nuts I think.

I still have plenty of work to do with tweaks and such but damn those are some rockin scores everyone is pumpin out!!!!

Ace... if your artifact free... AWSOME JOB MAN. If not.. well.. to each his own.

I agree Pcgeek04, overclocked scores really don't mean much if your getting artifacts...

Thats like seeing who can get their card to malfunction (artifact) the most, before totally failing, doesn't really make sense at all

I believe an OC score w/o artifacts is very important for the simple reason that if your getting artifacts, it's really not useable at that speed in gaming, and isn't that what 3DMark is supposed to measure?

Im hitting a temp barrier going from 575/1150 to 600/1200 the score didnt change one bit likely due to temp declocking but my ram seems to like high speeds. *EDIT Well AMAZINGLY my scores seem to do very well on lower core speeds so im set on 550/1200. I did about 15 minutes of ATItool before i got tired of it and noticed no change for about 10 minutes and the temps top out at 89c no artifacting of course. Im certain going higher just declocks the card as i get the exact same score using the other 2 settings ive mentioned and they top out at 92c before declocking both did not artifact either.

Sorry for interruption, however i can't seem to get it to boot from the CD. I have:
1. Downloaded Jokers ISO package
2. Burnt the image to CD using nero
3. Hit f12 to boot from CD-DVD rom

then all i get is a black screen with nothing, nothing happens. Any suggestions as to what to do? Sorry once again

CHeers!

updates done for the day.

To get your score posted, please use the format below:

Score - Name - CPU / Memory / Screen / HD Size & Speed / Single or Dual-pipe Card / Driver Version / Power Supply @ Core/Memory/Voltage

SCREENSHOT REQUIRED AS BACKUP!

There are plenty of examples of this format in the first post. Take your time, submit it right!

My memory will not allow even 1150, return to proxycon has puppet string artifacts on the big guy with the vulcan type cannon. DARN IT!
I was getting the same thing with 1200 so I have dropt to 1150 and found that ATI was finding just one error on 1 pixcel so now I am running at 1120 and it's all cool 570/560
post #150 of 741
yeah i still need to make some more .roms for the 1110, 1120, 1130, 1140 ram speeds.

I will get to it eventually.

Hello, just thought i'd post my 3Dmark05 score too:

8061 - Cookie092 - 1,83 Ghz / 1GB 533 / WXGA / 80GB 7200 / Dual-pipe / Stock Dell Driver / 90W PS @ 600/1150/1.24V

If you guys are still discriminating against M1710's my M1710 I got as a replacement for my XPS gen 2 from dell just got:

2 GHz Core Duo
1 GB 667 Ram (will swap with my 2 GB 533 soon)
Geforce go 7900 gs @ 630/1201.25/1.24v

It is dual pipe (since its a M1710), temps max out at 80-81 C during atitool, they dont even get that high during the short 3dmarks, and I ran atitool for 74 minutes with no errors, so I am gonna keep it at these speeds.

stock dell drivers buy the way, some of the other ones wanted to make my system BSOD with IRQ_IS_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, after rebooting, though the drivers did work until I rebooted.

My replacement E1705's single pipe 7900 GS overclocks better than my dual pipe 7900 GS. Guess it has a better core so I'm going to be doing some swapping

Here's what I got at 620/1200 with the single pipe (other specs identical to my other system):

EDIT: New high score of 9189 at 640/1200..woot first place:

Congratulations Joker. Did you notice any difference in the temperature's between the single and dual-pipes? It would seem they offer the same performance.
