my upgrade went pretty much without a hitch. Dell 1350 wireless here. my XPS is pretty much loaded too. I had to reload outlook 2002 due to slight startup problem. All device drivers installed fine except for Firewire which said I needed to go to Dell for a device driver.

PS: This probably made a difference too.- I chose the "upgrade" path of Vista install as opposed to the fress install. So all my XP drivers were seen.

I also chose upgrade but it could not find the wireless network whatsoever.

I just did a fresh install on my e1405, and all works well, except from coming out of sleep or hybernate. My wireless has been working great.

I installed vista a few weeks ago on my XPS and it works flawlessly. However I have a pcmcia wireless card and not the built in dell. This was a fresh install.
