Hey phase nuts... - Page 4

Hmmm, get this:

What else should I know about using FedEx Home Delivery?

FedEx Home Delivery is the only service of its kind dedicated to residential customers. It gives you the flexibility to tailor delivery to when it's most convenient for your recipient, by choosing delivery in the evening, on a specific day, or even by appointment. Plus, extended hours (9:00 am-8:00 pm) and Saturday delivery are standard features of service.

So maybe I will have Saturday as a "safety net" in case it doesn't arrive on Friday. Sweet.

Interesting....so I guess it'll finally arrive tomorrow morning and be here tomorrow afternoon? God I hope so.

It should get to you before the evening. With me, if I accidently miss delivery then I can just take the door slip down to the FedEx counter and pick it up. FedEx is pretty flexible when it comes to delivery. On the day of delivery you can call them up and make special arrangements for your delivery.

I just checked the status and found out that my system has traveled the 263 mile trip from Miami to Orlando in 5 1/2 hours. Come one FedEx, let's keep this pace up.

Dream on. Mine has taken almost a week and hasn't moved an inch.

Ah, all the negativity.

Where is yours being shipped to Wolf?

Washington. However, read my update in the "FedEx" thread.

Actually, that sounds about right. According to FedEx Ground shipping standards it can take anywhere from one to five business days within the 48 states, depending on the distance from origin to destination (http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupp...ml#anchortag22). Since you're in Washington and the computer originates all the way across the country in Florida then I'd say the five business day wait would apply to you. So you ordered your computer on March 24. If you count five business days then that would put you at March 31 if you don't include this past Monday since it could be considered a Holiday because of Easter. Unfortunately, there's a lot of room for error like delays and stuff when the package is traveling that far. I'm a much bigger fan of UPS.

Yes I know, but I was making a fuss because I was told it was still in Florida. But that wasn't true...

I just checked the FedEx site and my system made it to the Fort Worth sort facilty at noon today! It's 128 miles away.

So tomorrow's delivery is looking more promising than ever. (fingers still crossed though)

Hey, every little bit counts. It's for the better good of Alienwarekind.

How's your system treating you by the way?

It's going like a boeing, but not sounding like one at least...which is good, 'cos my homebuilt one sounds like a 747 undergoing thrust tests!

It's kust amazing...money well-spent IMHO.

Now to go get owned playing CS:S on the NBF server....lol

Call customer service and ask what's up.
Groza - Call AW - getting out of the first three steps can take a long time - they might be needing additional information from you, so your order is sitting someplace. If you call, you can get it moving again!

Keep the faith - the financing part is horrendous. I went through something similar and it was maddening. I just kept hanging around NBF and the posts here helped to ease the pain. I can only suggest that you keep calling them to make sure things move along and the financing process doesn't get stuck again - once it gets to the build phase, it picks up speed.
