There is probably a daily limit put on your debit card by your bank. That's how mine is. And transfers take time, just like a bank transfer. It has nothing to do with Alienware but more to do with the company your wired the money through. AW won't start building your system until they're absolutely sure that it's paid for. I don't blame them. It's a business and must look out for itself in the end.

Go back and read my previous posts in this thread and it will offer an explanation as to why your status is still reading the it left the Orlando sort facility.

It's had no updates, though... It has had 4 bussiness days, and no update. Oh well, if it doesn't come tomorrow then I'm just going to raise hell to Fed Ex =]

Some customers here have experienced longer than normal ship times so don't fret. Where exactly do you live?

Rowley, Massachusetts.
Update: I checked fed ex again and it had an update.. It's in CT! Woot!

Greetings;

I ordered my AW desktop on 7/5 and it's been at "phase 9" now since early last week. I called and increased the warrenty to the 4-year last Thursday and the CS guy told me it was "really" in phase 12 and might ship the next morning. No joy. Perhaps changing the order caused some sort of delay. I sent AW an email yesterday just to check and a Mr. Milton replied that my box was in "the integration phase" and might ship within the next 2-3 business days. Hope so.....

I've built my own pooters since 1998 when I gave up on a Presario that just couldn't handle the load. Since then though I've found I update my MB and graphics cards almost every year. My last build was a 3.06 P4 on an ASUS P4C800-E with two Gb of PC2100/266. ABIT boards prior to that. I figure the "upgrade-ability" with Alienware will be less hassle, maybe even save a little cash. Then again.....

I already have a Sony SDM-P232W monitor, some Logitech Z-680s so didn't order monitor and speakers with the new box. And I have an Audigy 2ZS and an IDE HD I'll need to install.

I can hardly wait to see what AW poops out. Hope I don't get a lemon. Contrary to what I found on a Google search for "Alienware Support" and "Alienware Complaint" this forum has got generally positive stuff about the company and the computers. Sure is/was reassuring......

Hello all! I'm new to the forums so I just thought i'd say hi to everyone.

Anyway, I've been stuck on phase 1 for quite a while.... makes me wish i mailed back my AW credit card paperwork PRIORITY instead of First-Class

Has anyone ever applied & got approved for the AW card and made the order on the exact same day that they mailed back their paperwork? I'm wondering how long it'll take for them to process the paperwork once it's received... then i can get my order going.

I mailed in all the necessary paperwork about 10 days ago and i've been refreshing the order status page for the last couple days haha.

I REALLY need this system by December 10. I can't go on a vacation w/out a computer by my side.

I waited for 2 weeks and heard nothing, So i called them and they said they just needed to veryify a few things before the order goes through, So they ask a bunch of questions about your family and places you have lived "Somehow they know everyone in your family" If you get all the questions right they continue with the order...
